Goygol Wine Plant Participates in the 8th China International Import Expo

Goygol Wine Plant, in partnership with AZPROMO, successfully participated in the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), held in Shanghai from 5–10 November 2025. As one of the world’s largest trade platforms, the exhibition plays a significant role in promoting Azerbaijani products on the global stage and expanding export opportunities.

At the expo, Goygol Wine Plant showcased Azerbaijan’s oldest winemaking traditions, its 165-year production heritage, and its diverse product range at the national pavilion. Visitors were introduced to the company’s premium wines, brandy products, and other alcoholic beverages, and product tastings were organized throughout the event.

The primary objective of the participation was to present Azerbaijan’s rich winemaking culture to the Chinese public, to promote the country’s ancient enological heritage internationally, and to further increase export potential.

It should be noted that expanding international cooperation to strengthen the national brand in the alcoholic beverage sector and to broaden global sales channels is among the key strategic goals of Goygol Wine Plant. By participating in international exhibitions, the company continues to showcase Azerbaijan’s production capabilities and quality standards, contributing to the country’s economic growth.

With more than 160 years of history, Goygol Wine Plant OJSC is the oldest alcoholic beverage producer in Azerbaijan. Its brands — Xan 1860, Goygol, Karabakh, as well as a wide range of vodka, wine, brandy, and sparkling wine products — are exported to various countries and have repeatedly earned major international awards and certifications.
