Goygol Wine Plant participated in the “Snow Polo World Cup 2026” in Switzerland

Goygol Wine Plant — one of the oldest winemaking enterprises in Azerbaijan — took part in the 41st international “Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz” tournament, held from January 23 to 25, 2026, in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

The “Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz” is considered one of the most prestigious events in the world of winter sports and is the only top-tier (“High Goal”) polo tournament in the world held on snow. For the 41st time, this landmark competition brought together representatives of the global elite, combining sport, tradition, and high society culture against the majestic backdrop of the Swiss Alps, on the frozen lake of St. Moritz.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan was represented at this prestigious international tournament by the “Team Azerbaijan – Land of Fire,” which достойно showcased the nation’s sporting traditions on the global stage. Throughout the entire period of the competition, with the support and organization of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Azerbaijan Pavilion operated at the venue, presenting the country’s culture, national spirit, and rich traditions to the international community.
